Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized the need to permanently mitigate noise pollution caused by religious loudspeakers on Wednesday.
While checking the progress of development works along with law and order issues, he also asked the officials to shelve the use of high volume DJs during Holi celebrations, as per the statement.
Banks, financial institutions, and even shops were included in his directives to place CCTVs at all likely commercial centers. He instructed supervisors to place smuggling of bovine animals under strict surveillance and warned these smugglers, vehicle owners, and negligent policemen more of these would be caught.
Adg zone having headquarters at Piyush Mordia was asked to organise district wise checking for prompt compliance with the state order prohibiting cattle smuggling.
With the aim of speeding up development of the projects, Adityanath ordered no delays to be tolerated and asked the supervisors of all still under construction works to report to him every week with the progress. Learning from the progress gaps during value-check, he had the authority to mandate the civil servants to be more efficient in their productive meetings.
As the summer is fast approaching, he asked his officers to guarantee that water will be supplied without any service interruptions. Artistic and advertising paintings of good quality were also suggested by him to enhance the appearance of the flyover pillars.
The CM urged concerned officials to provide adequate vending zones in the city for the consideration of street hawkers. He also asked the concerned officials to provide all farmers at each wheat procurement centre reasonable meals, no cost drinking water, and proper seating accommodations.
The District Magistrate has noted that the stated wheat purchasing will be done at Rs 2,425 per quintal starting March 17 at the 36 centres throughout the district and explained that the implementation will occur on this date.
In addition, the CM instructed the building of hostels and the provision of cheap canteens for working women in the district.
He made an order for effective watching during ‘Holika Dahan’ and Hoil celebrations and put an instruction for officials to pinpoint the ten most wanted men in each police station.
