Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Rather than feeling concerned about the escalating tensions of trade wars, China chose to contact India to propose new collaborations which aim to enhance the Global South. Xu Feihong, the Chinese ambassador to India, formulated and put these propositions forward in an article published in The Indian Express. In his article, he commented on the need for New Delhi to counter the alleged attempts by Washington to bully smaller countries.
Ambassador Xu blames the US for manipulating and using tariffs as tools of weaponry and violating World Trade Organisation standards. He argued that America’s claimed fair and reciprocal policies are, in fact, disruptive to international trade. Xu also said that the policies set in place by former president Trump are intentionally designed to prevent developing countries from advancing beyond the low-tier stages of the global market supply chain.

Xu Feihong reproachable also targets the other side of the spectrum where nations go out of their way to solicit and give in to all demands posed by the US. He spoke about the danger of a complying world falling into a much greater “blueprint” for a Great Depression or even worse, chaotic anarchy devoid of any form of law.
China Notes Opportunities for India-China Economic Cooperation
While addressing India, Xu informed them of the economic figures which showcase the potential of both China and India. He claimed that if the two Asian countries collaborated, there could be a synergy effect as beneficial as “1+1=11” for both countries.
While summing up, Xu stated that maintaining fairness and mutual respect is important while trading with nations around the world. He stated that the time has come for the developing economies to unite and create an equilibrium system on the globe.
