China Denies Ongoing Tariff Talks with U.S., Urges Washington to Stop Public Misleading:

On Friday, China’s foreign ministry called on the United States to cease “misleading the public” concerning \the state of tariff talks between the two countries. A ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun made it very clear during a press conference that there were no consultations or discussions regarding tariff issues between China and the US at that time.
