Mahindra & Mahindra will increase the prices of its SUVs and commercial vehicles by up to three percent from January next year. Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) said in a statement on Friday that the price hike is due to rising costs due to inflation and rising commodity prices. The company said that it has tried to reduce the additional costs as much as possible. However, a part of this increase will have to be passed on to the customers. The leading automobile company said that the price increase will be up to three percent in various SUVs and commercial vehicles.

MG Motor will also increase prices.

JSW MG Motor India will also increase the prices of various models of its vehicles by up to three percent from January. The company said in a statement on Friday that the price hike is a result of the ever-increasing cost of components and other external factors. Satinder Singh Bajwa, Chief Commercial Officer, JSW MG Motor India, said, “Our dedication to quality, innovation, a nd sustainability is a priority and drives us to constantly improve our offering. In doing so, a marginal price increase is inevitable to compensate for the rising raw material costs.”

Suzuki and Hyundai cars will also become expensive.

Maruti Suzuki India has announced to increase in the price of vehicles from January to reduce the impact of operating expenses. Suzuki will increase the prices of its various models by up to four percent from January. Maruti Suzuki said in a notice to the stock exchange that given the rising cost of raw materials and operating expenses, the company plans to increase the prices of its cars from January 2025. The price increase is expected to be up to four percent and will vary depending on the model. It said, “Although the company constantly strives to optimize costs and minimize the impact on its customers, some part of the increased cost may have to be passed on to the market.” Apart from this, Hyundai Motor India has also announced an increase of up to Rs 25,0000 in its vehicles from January 1. Various luxury vehicle manufacturers Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi have also announced an tincrease inin the prices of vehicles from next month.
