Set to make another entry this year, BTS' J-Hope will be releasing his second digital single 'Mona Lisa' on March 21. Just a couple of weeks after the release of 'Sweet Dreams' featuring Miguel, the K-Pop icon is set to release an upbeat hip hop R&B infused track that is sure to bring a new wave of energy.

This joyful song is infused with deep lyrics as the artist tries to measure love to da Vinci’s infamous piece of art. While J-Hope’s previous release had a dreamy ethereal sound, this one is said to be bouncier and more vibrant. In order to ensure that his signature artistry remains, J-Hope took part in the songwriting process.

BIGHIT MUSIC officially described the song as, “A hip hop and R&B track that celebrates a captivating person by playfully comparing them to the iconic masterpiece ‘Mona Lisa’ which has baffled the world for centuries."

The agency further emphasized that the song is much deeper in context than just being about beauty. It holds the uniqueness that true charm is not the physical attributes of a person, but the distinct features which set someone apart.

To hype the song, J-Hope teased fans by performing Mona Lisa live at the Brooklyn concert during his HOPE ON THE STAGE 2025 tour.

As noted by BIGHIT MUSIC, Mona Lisa is not just a song; rather, to J-Hope’s fans, it is a loving gift from him. “This digital single is a surprise gift from J-Hope to his fans for their endless love and support. We further request your vigorous support toward J-hope’s future activities.”

Along the new songs, J-Hope is also doing the North American leg of his HOPE ON THE STAGE 2025 tour, with Chicago's Allstate Arena on March 17-18, Palacio De Los Deportes, Mexico City on March 22-23, Frost Bank Center in San Antonio on March 26-27, Oakland Arena in Oakland on March 31-April 1, and BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on April 4-6.

He will then continue the tour to Asia after his US shows, hitting Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei and Osaka, before finishing on June 1, 2025.
