British Woman Allegedly Raped by 'Instagram Friend' in Delhi Hotel:

According to ANI, a man was captured for allegedly assaulting a British female in a hotel located in Mahipalpur, Delhi.

Kailash, one of the suspects, is said to have met the victim on Instagram. He has since been charged with molestation, as was reported by ANI with the Delhi police.

The occurrence has been reported to the British High Commission.

"Police officer in Doordarshan said, ‘A man was arrested on charges of rape with a British woman at a Mahipalpur hotel in Delhi. Her accomplice was arrested on charges of molestation. The woman who was another friend of the man through social media came to Delhi from the UK’,” said police officers in Delhi.

As per the police, a Mayur Vihar, East Delhi local, who is said to make Instagram reels had “met” a London lady on the platform some months back. Kailash.

The woman had traveled to Maharashtra and Goa and later reached out to Kailash to see if he would like to meet her. Kailash said she was welcome to come to Delhi but had to travel.

Kailash is said to be employed at some private company by NDTV. From what the woman claims, he found English to be a problem and communicated with her via Google Translate.
