Preparations for his funeral are ongoing at his residence. According to his son, Kunal Goswami, the final journey began at 9 AM from the hospital, reaching their home by 10 AM. The cremation ceremony is scheduled for 11:30 AM at Pawan Hans cremation ground in Juhu, Mumbai.

A video circulating online shows an ambulance transporting the late actor's remains. The vehicle was decorated with flowers designed in the pattern of the Indian tricolour—an emotional tribute to the actor known for his patriotic roles. Another video showed family members making preparations for the last rites.
