On the 23rd of September, Amit Malviya said that the Pahalgam attack was carried out by a joint effort between Hamas and Pakistan terror groups.
In the attack, 26 civillians were victims and most were tourists.
Malviya, using a post on X, outlined some of the aspects that show similarities between the Pahalgam attack and Hamas tactics.
“In my view, Malviya posted information regarding the assault which had four militants, two Pakistanis and two locals whom I assume had secluded their homes as they executed Hamas style operations.”

The BJP IT Chief accused the assailants of employing tactics such as their prior terrorism training in occupied PoK.
A further claim includes from Malviya that Hamas has presence in garrisoned occupied Kashmir.
Malviya also stated regarding a recent event that a garrisoned commander came under fire at the hands of constituents throwing bricks while claiming to be protestors with a picture of the Kashmiri flag and some Hamas forces with embroidered headbands that say ‘holes in the male slits’’.

Bringing Allegations Outside The Region of Kashmir
Malviya further accused that the ISI aided in a radicalization plot in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in the month of October.
In his words, Hamas leaders collaborated with Islamist factions to incite jihadist propaganda against the northeast part of India.
Al Markazul Islami was also reported to host Hamas representative Sheikh Khaled Quddumi, alongside other Pakistani clerics including Mufti Taqi Usmani and Maulana Fazlur Rahman.
India’s Response Diplomatically and in terms of Security
After the subsequent assault in Baisaran Valley in the vicinity of Pahalgam, India and Pakistan's relations soured sharply.
An affiliate of Lashkar-e-Taiba, The Resistance Front (TRF) gloated over claiming credit for the attack.
As retaliation:
In a response, The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, declared stern steps for counterattacks.
The Indus Waters Treaty was rendered inactive by India.
Pakistani embassy military attaches were also dismissed.
The Integrated Check Post at Wagah-Attari was shut down.
Indian restrictions imposed on Pakistan post incident demonstrate a significant shift in India’s approach which have traditionally been more lenient, suggesting a hardening stance on Islamabad.
