Scheduled for October 6, 2026, the upcoming Dhara Mahotsav aims to put Kaimur on the global tourism map by showcasing its breathtaking waterfalls, lush forest landscapes, and vibrant folk traditions. Organized by the Kaimur Forest Division, the event will take place at the scenic Maa Mundeshwari Wildlife Eco Park, commencing at 2:30 PM.

Operating under this year's evocative theme, "Every Stream Has Its Own Story," the Dhara Festival aligns with the nationwide observance of Wildlife Week from October 2 to October 8. Following the monsoon rains, the Kaimur hills and wildlife sanctuary reach the peak of their natural splendor, transforming local water bodies into mesmerizing tourist attractions:
Majestic Waterfalls: Renowned sites such as Karakatgarh, Telhar Kund, Bansikhoh, and Karmachat offer stunning vistas of cascading water framed by dense green forests.
