The wait for Vodafone-Idea (Vi) ‘s 5G service is going to end soon. A big update has come out regarding this. The company’s CEO Akshay Mundra has shared important information about the delay in the launch of Vodafone-Idea’s 5G service and network deployment. Not only this, the company has also released the results of the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25. In the first quarter, the company has managed to reduce its losses. However, the number of active users of Vi has come down from 19.33 crores to 18.83 crores.

The increase in mobile tariff has had an impact on the company. The company’s CEO admitted that many Vi users have ported their numbers to the government telecom company BSNL. However, the company is confident that these users can once again join Vi. BSNL has added lakhs of new users after the private telecom companies increased the mobile tariff, out of which 2.5 lakh are those users who were already taking the services of private telecom companies.
