Big news related to Mafia Atiq Ahmed, remand granted against a dozen accused including his son

Prayagraj: The court has approved the remand against a dozen accused including mafia Atiq Ahmed’s son Mohammad Umar, Ali Ahmed, advocate Khan Saulat Hanif, and Vijay Mishra. The court has approved judicial custody remand with conditions under section 2(3)(1) of the Gangster Act. The next hearing of this case will be on December 20.

Dhoomanganj police station had filed an application in the special court in the gangster case and the court had summoned all the accused to make judicial custody remand. The accused were presented in the court through video conferencing. Gangster case special judge Vinod Kumar Chaurasia heard the case. The court heard senior prosecution officers Dinesh Kumar Dwivedi and Sanjay Kumar Singh and passed the order after hearing the arguments of the advocates present on behalf of the accused.

Interrogation of Ali Ahmed and other accused remains pending.

The court said that an investigation is going on against the accused in this case. Gang leader Ali Ahmed and other accused are to be questioned. It seems appropriate to include the details of the interrogation in the investigation. The court said that according to the forms submitted by the police for sending them to remand custody, there is a case for sending them to judicial custody.

The court has approved the remand of Mohammad Umar, Ali Ahmed, Khan Saulat Hanif, Vijay Mishra, Kaish Ahmed, Rakesh alias Nakesh alias Lala, Mohammad Arshad Katra, Niaz Ahmed, Iqbal Ahmed alias Mohammad Sajar, Sharukh alias Shahrukh Khan, Atiq Ahmed’s brother-in-law Akhlaq Ahmed and conspirator Sadakat Khan.

Gangster Act imposed in Umesh Pal murder case.

Gangster Act has been imposed on the accused involved in the murder of Umesh Pal and two government gunmen. Dhoomanganj police station had registered a case under the Gangster Act on 24 October 2024, in which Mafia Atiq Ahmed’s son Ali Ahmed was described as the gang leader. Mafia Atiq’s elder son Mohammad Umar and lawyers Saulat Khan Hanif and Vijay Mishra are included among the 15 accused. Out of the 15 accused against whom gangster action has been taken, 12 accused are in jail. The remand of these 12 accused has been made, while in the Umesh Pal and two government gunners shootout cases, three accused shooters Guddu Muslim, Sabir, and Arman are absconding. A reward of five lakhs each has been announced for all three. On 24 February 2023, Umesh Pal and two government gunners were killed with bombs and bullets.
