Bhopal; Flights from the capital Bhopal to Goa are starting for the first time from Tuesday. This flight of IndiGo will be by 180 seater Airbus. By Monday evening, its spot rent had reached Rs 7,500. The airport management will welcome the maiden flight with a water cannon salute. According to airport director Ramji Awasthi, the flight will be operated from Mopa airport in North Goa. IndiGo management says that the flight operation days can also be increased due to increase in passenger demand.
According to the information provided by the management, the flight from Bhopal to Goa will depart at 12.10 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flight will arrive at Goa’s Mopa airport at 2.05 pm. Before that, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only, Indigo flights will depart from Goa’s Mopa airport at 9.35 am. This flight will reach Bhopal airport at 11.40 am.
The number of passengers will increase
The number of passengers is likely to increase further after the commencement of flights to Goa from Raja Bhoj Airport. It is believed that the number of passengers will reach around 1.25 lakh by next month. Now flight number will be 34 in both directions. At present most of the passengers go to Delhi and Mumbai from Raja Bhoj Airport.
