Bhopal College Rape and Blackmail Case: Main Accused Shot During Escape Attempt:

Suspense crime, Digital Desk : In a shocking tale of Farhan Ali, earlier the one main accused in the rape and blackmail case of college students in Bhopal, was shot after an alleged bid to escape from police custody. The attempts have intensified the already high profile case and inquiry.

Incident Overview

While on escort to Bilkisganj, Ali requested a break that was close to Sarwar village. During the break, he tried grabbing a sub-inspector’s gun which led to a brawl. The officer reported firing one bullet, striking Ali on the leg. He was shifted to hospital where he continues being treated under custody.

Case Background

The allegations on Farhan and the college students include recording explicit videos without consent, followed by evident blackmail. It is suspected that due to the concealment the posed identity, horrible threats such as blank videos had to be posed in order to silence them. Multiple legal cases have been posed back under the Indian Penal Code, cyber law, and also religious freedom act of the state.
