The public sector Bank of Baroda (BoB) has made headlines with their latest recruitment drive. The bank has advertised for applications from the general public to fill the positions left vacant due to the termination of employment contracts with Local Bank Officers (LBOs). The scope of recruitment is to strengthen the operational capacity of the branches of the bank situated across the length and breadth of the country.

This recruitment drive is especially useful for people who wish to have a career in banking industry. The Local Bank Officer position has a more complex selection process than the others. It consists of an online test on general and banking knowledge which is followed by a personal interview for role fit assessment. Those who pass will be able to get an employment offer from the bank.
