Bank Holidays: Please note that if you are planning to visit the bank branch in the month of August for some urgent work, you should pay attention to this news first. Bank and private sector institutions will be completely closed for a total of 15 days this month. In addition, the weekly rest of Sunday and second and fourth Saturdays are included. Also, holidays due to local festivals in various states are included too.
 
With the approval of state governments, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has published a holiday list for 2025, which can be accessed on the RBI website. Nonetheless, branchless banking services such as internet banking, mobile banking, UPI services and ATMs will be available even during the holidays.
