Big news has come out for the primary teachers of Madhya Pradesh. The government is going to cancel the appointment of more than 300 primary teachers posted in the state. An order has also been issued for this. According to this order, the appointment of primary teachers appointed after 10 August 2023 who have done B.Ed is being canceled. The Public Education Department has issued an order for this and according to the order, action will be taken in the next week. From now on, a D.Ed will be required instead of a B.Ed to become a primary teacher in Madhya Pradesh.
More than 300 primary teachers will lose their jobs
According to the order issued by the Public Education Department, the appointment of more than 300 teachers who have been appointed as primary teachers based on B.Ed will be canceled. This order will be effective in the case of teachers appointed on and after 11 August 2023.
What is written in the order?
In the order issued by the Director of the School Education Department, it is written that, in its order dated 11 August 2023, SC has repealed the notification of NCTE dated 28 June 2018. Based on this decision, candidates with B.Ed qualification will not be eligible for primary education. In that order, citing the orders of the High Court and the Supreme Court, it has been said that the appointment of B.Ed holders to primary teacher posts appointed on and after 11 August 2023 will not be valid.
It is also written in the order that, the appointment of primary teachers having B.Ed qualification should be immediately canceled by testing the professional qualification of the appointed primary teacher with the records available in the district. From now on, the for appointment of the primary teacher in Madhya Pradesh, a D.Ed will have to be done instead of a B.Ed.
