iPhone SE 4 will be launched next year. Apple is going to make several major upgrades in this budget iPhone. According to a report, the company can use OLED i.e. Organic Light Emitting Diode panel in this cheap model as well. LCD i.e. Liquid Crystal Display has been used in all the iPhone SE models launched so far.
Apple made a big decision!
According to Reuters, a Japanese newspaper has first reported this. The Japanese newspaper has confirmed this information citing its source. These days, most smart TV and smartphone manufacturing companies are shifting towards OLED display panels. The main reasons for this are display quality, vivid color quality, sharpness, contrast, and high-definition video compatibility. Android smartphone manufacturing companies are nowadays providing OLED panels even in their budget phones. In such a situation, Apple has also now decided to use OLED panels in all its iPhones.
Order placed for OLED panel
Apple has placed orders for the upcoming iPhone SE 4 model with Chinese display manufacturing company BOE Technology and LG Display. Earlier, orders for cheaper iPhone models were placed with Japanese companies Sharp Corp and Japan Display. This time the company has not placed orders with these two companies for the iPhone SE 4 model. A decade ago, 70 percent of displays were ordered from Apple with these two Japanese companies.
The Cupertino-based company first used OLED panels in the iPhone X launched in 2017. Since then, the company has been using OLED panels in all its premium iPhone models. Not only this, the company has also launched the iPad Pro model launched this year with OLED panels. Apple has also made this major upgrade to its tablet.
