Apple has appointed Indian-origin Kevan Parekh as the company’s new CFO. Kevan will take over as the company’s CFO from January next year. Earlier, the company also announced the launch date of its new iPhone 16 series. The new iPhone 16 series will be launched on September 9 next month. However, in a recent report, the launch date of the new iPhone 16 series was being told as September 10. The company has announced this new date to surprise people. Kevan Parekh is currently working as Vice President of Financial Planning at Apple.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said about appointing Kevan Parekh as CFO that he has been a part of the company’s financial leadership team for the last decade, and he has a good understanding of the internal matters of the company. Kevan will replace the current CFO of the company Luca Maestri. Luca will be given another new responsibility of the company from January 1, 2025. Praising Kevan Parekh, Tim Cook said that he has been given the important responsibility of CFO considering his judgment quality and other capabilities. He is suitable for this role.
Who is Kevan Parekh?
Kevan has been associated with Apple since June 2013. Before that, he worked for 4 years at Thompson Reuters in different capacities. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan. He also completed his MBA from the University of Chicago. After this, he worked for 5 years with the giant automobile company General Motors. Parekh has been a part of Apple’s financial leadership team for the last 11 years, where he was given different responsibilities. He has led Apple’s product marketing, internet sales, and services as well as the engineering team.
