Apple Releases watchOS 11.5 Update: New Watch Face, Bug Fixes, and Enhanced Features:

Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Ahead of WWDC 2025, Apple has released a new update watchos 11.5 for apple watches which adds new features, enhancements, and introduces a new watch face.

New Pride Harmony watch face

As part of the annual update, Apple has bundled the new watch face “Pride Harmony” which complements the wallpapers rolled out with ios & ipados 18.5. It also features an enhanced dim mode on apple watch series 10.

Bug fix: Battery notification sync

Apple has also resolved a long standing bug where iphone users are not notified when an apple watch is charged. With watchos 11.5, now all users of apple watch series 6 or newer will receive the battery notification.

Steps to Update to watchOS 11.5

To download the update:

Make sure that your Apple Watch is Series 6 and newer.

Also, ensure it is paired with an iPhone on the latest iOS.

Go to the Watch app > General > Software Update and follow the on-screen instructions.

What’s Next: watchOS 12 on WWDC

Apple will announce watchOS 12 on the next WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) next June. The update watchOS 11.5 is the final fine-tune before the major OS change.
