Suspense crime, Digital Desk : In an eye-opening interview, actress Anushka Sharma shared that her relationship with fellow actor Ranveer Singh was, in her words, "very volatile." To many, the chemistry the two actors shared in films such as Band Baaja Baaraat and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl appears unmistakable. However, Anushka made it clear that their personal relationship was quite intense and combustible.

“We can kill each other. I’m serious. I can take his head off, and he can take mine off,” said Anushka during the interview, exposing the intensity of their relationship.

Personalities That Didn't Align Beyond Screen Chemistry

As intense as the chemistry was, Anushka acknowledges being attracted to Ranveer Singh. However, she believes that his personality, along with his perspectives, made a romantic relationship impossible. According to Anushka, there were too many disagreements on too many different levels and for them to come to a consensus used to be a challenge.

Why Ranveer Singh Wouldn't Be Her Ideal Boyfriend

Anushka went on explaining that the fact that Ranveer was too self-focused made him unfit for her in her regard. She explains that she'd prefer to be with someone who takes note of her activities and appreciates her.

"I want someone who's involved with me, and Ranveer is too into himself," she had stated.

Moving On With Different Life Paths

Though the two tried their best to capitalize on their success as a duo, they never worked on building a long-term relationship together. Anushka went on to marry cricketer Virat Kohli while Ranveer Singh married actress Deepika Padukone.

Singh and Padone’s marriage along with Anushka and Virat’s has become so mainstream that it shows how quickly the perception of life goals changes within society. The couple’s shift towards an individualistic approach to life highlights the balancing of emotional considerations alongside other priorities.
