Suspense crime, Digital Desk : After the completion of Operation Sindoor, a military operation striking terror installations within the Line of Control (LoC), several prominent personalities and leaders from India came forth to publicly express their support for the Armed Forces.  

Bollywood illustrious veteran actor Anupam Kher posted on X, previously known as Twitter, showing pride and support through the statement “Bharat Mata Ki Jai #OperationSindoor”  

This came after the Ministry of Defense publicly shared its IAF’s claims of meticulously planned strike sorties on suspected militant strongholds in Bahawalpur, Kotli, Ahmadpur Sharqia, Muzaffarabad, Muridke and Faisalabad, Pakistan and PoK.  

Strikes Characterized as Controlled and Strategic  

They were non-escalatory in nature, in terms of the domestic and foreign territory violated; strategically executed out of Indian airspace, as the intention was not to engage Pakistani war infrastructure or assets affiliated with the Indian military.  

With the aid of government sources, previously designated targets were stated to neutralized 17 operational militants, in addition to more than 60 sustaining injuries. There was stated to be a link to the groups that attacked Pahalgam on April 22, which 26 Indian soldiers.  

The social media post by the Indian Army confirming the exercise was later also posted by a section of the populace claiming “Judicial empathy in action. Jai Hind.” There was notable public acclaim to the posts.

Political Leaders Praise the Forces

Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Bandi Sanjay Kumar were also noted for praising the Armed Forces. They called the strike a very calculated and dignified way of honoring the Pahalgam victims, which showed India's commitment while still showcasing restraint.
