Uttar Pradesh: Mahant Yati Narsinghanand of Dasna Devi Temple in Ghaziabad is often in the headlines for his controversial statements. Now another controversial statement has come to light. On Friday, he issued a video message and appealed to the Hindu community to recite Hanuman Chalisa during the conference of the Muslim community to be held in Delhi. This statement of Mahant has come regarding the Muslim conference to be held on November 24 at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi, which has been organized by Maulvi Tauqeer Raza on the issue of the Waqf Amendment Bill.

“If you still don’t oppose the Jihadis, then…”

Yeti Narasimhanand said in this video, “Hindu society should not repeat the mistake of Shaheen Bagh movement and should unite against Islamic Jihadis.” Mahant also warned that if the Hindu community still does not oppose the Jihadis, then India will also lose everything like Bangladesh, Pakistan, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iran, and Arab countries and will be wiped out from India.

“We will recite Hanuman Chalisa collectively”

In the video, Yeti Narasimhanand said, “All the living Hindus in this country should reach Ramlila Maidan on November 24. I will also reach there and we will collectively recite Hanuman Chalisa. 1008 Hanuman Chalisa, we will all recite Hanuman Chalisa continuously. If Maulana Tauqeer Raza turns the protest into an indefinite protest, then we will also keep reciting our Hanuman Chalisa as long as he remains in Delhi.”

What did the Ghaziabad Police Commissioner say?

Yeti Narasimhanand appealed that during such conferences, the Hindu community should defend its faith and culture and clarify the nature of its protest. Ghaziabad Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra reacted to this and said that since this matter is related to Delhi, he would have no objection to allowing Yeti Narasimhanand and his followers to enter the Delhi border, provided they get permission from the authorities of the national capital.
