Ambedkar Jayanti 2025: Today is the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, PM Modi and other big personalities paid tribute:

Modi Ambedkar Jayanti 2025: April 14 2025 marked the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Constitution’s architect. During an X social media interaction, PM Modi remarked "dedicated to the realization of social justice", referring to Babasaheb’s haunting inspirations. He also expressed that Ambedkar's thought process will contribute towards the self sufficient and developed India vision.

The PM expressed "I bow down to Bharat Ratna Pujya Babasaheb on his birth anniversary. It is due to his inspiration that the country is today Self-dedicated to social justice. These principles will aid India's self-reliance and development."

He is celebrated for championing the rights of the Schedule Castes as well has havikg a major hand in putting together India's Constitution. Ambedkar, one of the most brilliant men in his time, did his studying abroad and was born in a dalit family in 1891 worldwide known as the first law minister of India, died in 1956.

The social activist and the Indian Constitution’s architect (Dr. BR Ambedkar) was paid tributes on the 135th anniversary which took place on Monday at the Parliament House’s Prerna Sthal. On this occasion, other leaders like Sonai Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Rekha Gupta, JP Nadda along with the Prime Minister Modi marked their presence at the post memorial statue of Dr. Ambedkar and offered their respects.

They also attended the telecast of the President of India’s address at the beginning of the Parliamentary session symbolizing Ambedkar Jayanti. The vice president Mr. Jagdeep Dhankhar was also present at the occasion along with other leaders of the Parliament. The foundation has made arrangements of busses specially dedicated for the memorial.

Union Minister Amit Shah further added in a post, “Ambedakar is remembered as a constitutionalist who formulated a foundation rooted in an immense heritage for democracy, which was unparalleled in bolstering equality, freedom, and fraternity in India”. I pay my heartfelt tributes to the self-respecting legend of this nation, Ambedakar, on his birth anniversary.”
