Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : The Political Science Department at Ashoka university is led by Ali Khan Mahmudabad who has been arrested on Sunday. This is in connection with his comments on social media on the Indian army's operation Sindoor.
He was picked up from the house in Delhi at 5 AM and is now detained at Rai Police Station in Sonipat district, Haryana.
BJP’s Youth Wing Leader’s Complaint Prompted Action Initiatives
As per the information, the arrest stems from a complaint made by Yogesh Jatheri, the BJP youth wing general secretary for Haryana.
The first information report was filed on Saturday and it has multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) law. The offenses relate to promotion of unsecular sympathies, sedition, and deriding of a religion.
