Air India Express has announced a "Freedom Sale" in celebration of India's 79th Independence Day, offering around 50 lakh seats starting from as low as Rs 1,279 for domestic flights and Rs 4,279 for international flights. The booking window is open until August 15, 2025, for travel between August 19, 2024, and March 31, 2026.
The sale started on August 10 exclusively on the airline's website and mobile app and became available on all major booking channels from August 11 to 15.

Travel validity covers major festive seasons like Onam, Durga Puja, Deepawali, and Christmas.
Fare options vary by traveler preferences:
'Xpress Lite' with zero check-in baggage allowance.
'Xpress Value' including standard check-in baggage, starting at Rs 1,379 domestic and Rs 4,479 international.
'Xpress Biz,' the business-class equivalent, offers premium comfort with an industry-leading seat pitch of up to 58 inches on over 40 new aircraft.
Air India Express currently operates a fleet of 116 aircraft, running over 500 daily flights connecting 38 domestic and 17 international destinations. This sale aims to enhance connectivity and accessibility across India and beyond, marking a celebration of freedom through travel.
