Reacting to the rumors of leaving ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’, Sharad told ETimes, ‘No, these reports are false. I am not going anywhere and am still a part of the show. The storyline of the show is such that my character will return as Abdul very soon. All this is part of the story of my show. This is a very lovely show and I am known for the character of Abdul, it is a big achievement for me. Why would I leave the show? I can’t even think of leaving the show.’
Sharad Sankla broke his silence on leaving the show
Praising the team of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ and its producer Asit Kumar Modi, Sharad said, ‘The production house Neela Telefilms is like a family to me and our producer Asit Kumar Modi is my college friend, I will never leave the show. As long as the show runs, I will remain a part of it.’
