Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan said he will be working on multi-part film adaptations of ‘Mahabharat’ in the near future. He said something over an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India and called himself excited over it, mentioning that it is already in the back of his mind for a number of years now and is set to start on it later this year.
Aamir Khan’s Statement on Mahabharat
In Aamir Khan’s words, “The one other ambition that I have which I’m hoping to start work on this year, is working on the Mahabharat. That’s one of my biggest ambitions. So fingers crossed, hoping to start this year.” Report also suggest that this is in fact Aamir’s most important ambition judging by the statement above. It will be converted to screen with full grandeur for which he aims to produce it on a large scale.
Upcoming Film: Sitaare Zameen Par
A few days ago we did a news hour about Mahabharat but other than that Khan seem to not have slow down plans as he will be coming back to the cinema with Sitaare Zameen Par,’ a sequel to his critically acclaimed film ‘Taare Zameen Par’. This one is also directed by RS Prasanna while the new film is a copy of a 2018 Spanish film ‘Champions'. Starring Aamir Khan, Sitaare Zameen Par will also feature Darsheel Safary and Genelia Deshmukh. At last, Khan said in Sitaare Zameen Par is is still in the post production phase but sets to come out in 2025.
Come Back After Facing A Setback In The Box Office
Khan had taken a short break from acting for lackluster performance of his last film, 'Laal Singh Chaddha.' His upcoming projects are set to make a comeback, which already has Chavez fans anticipating with much excitement.
