Aamir Khan Movies: Aamir Khan’s last theatrical release was the film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya were also seen in the film. The film flopped. Recently, Aamir’s son Junaid Khan started his film career with the Netflix film ‘Maharaj’. Junaid’s film was liked by the fans. While this year is going well for Aamir and his family, Junaid has recently made a shocking revelation. 

Will Aamir Khan now retire from films? 

In an interview with Times of India, Junaid Khan revealed that his father and superstar Aamir Khan had thought of taking retirement. Junaid revealed that when he was on the set of a film after the shooting of ‘Maharaj’ was completed, Aamir Khan was working on another film for Khan Productions. During this time Kiran was making ‘Laapta Ladies’. So at that time father was in his retirement phase. He even told me, ‘I am retiring, why don’t you take care of it.’ 

 

‘Film making is one of the toughest jobs’

Junaid Khan revealed that ‘when his father was going through the ‘retiring’ phase, he stepped in as he had a good understanding of production. Junaid believes that filmmaking is one of the toughest jobs. The actor further said that neither Aamir nor Reena Dutta were worried about his first film. They were happy and Aamir liked the film a lot.’

Junaid also told that, ‘Aamir Khan never came to his set nor said anything about his debut film. He just came on the first day of shooting and then he directly watched the film.’ Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, Maharaj also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey, and Sharvari Wagh. 

The actor will make a strong comeback with ‘Sitar Zameen Par’

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is all set to entertain the audience with the film ‘Sitar Zameen Par’ this year. This film is a sequel to his first directorial venture ‘Taare Zameen Par’ which was released in 2007.
