Stefania Morechinanu was born on 18 June 1882 in Bucharest. She had her tenth standard education at the Central School Girls. While in class 10, he received a scholarship from the Romanian Ministry of Science and later moved to Paris to pursue a degree in research from the Radium Institute. He also attended the University of Bucharest. Morissinu then took a course in radioactivity at the Sorbonne, and until 1926 he conducted research with Marie Curie at the Radium Institute. He spent half his life researching polonium.
