Who is Stefania Morechinanu?

Stefania Morechinanu was born on 18 June 1882 in Bucharest. She had her tenth standard education at the Central School Girls. While in class 10, he received a scholarship from the Romanian Ministry of Science and later moved to Paris to pursue a degree in research from the Radium Institute. He also attended the University of Bucharest. Morissinu then took a course in radioactivity at the Sorbonne, and until 1926 he conducted research with Marie Curie at the Radium Institute. He spent half his life researching polonium.

During her research, Stefania Morechinanu spent a lot of time researching artificial rainfall. For this she went to Algeria. Stefania had studied the relationship between earthquakes and rain very closely. She was the first woman to discover that earthquakes increase radioactivity at the center of an earthquake. In 1936, Stefania was recognized for her work by the Romanian Academy of Sciences.
