Russia is confident of its victory in the war against Ukraine, Moscow told the European Parliament – sponsor of stupidity
Moscow: Russia has said that it has no doubts about the victory in the Ukraine war. He believes that victory will be his. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made this statement after the attack on energy institutions in Ukraine. A spokesman for the Kremlin said that one day they would win in the ongoing special operation in Ukraine. Significantly, these days Russian President Vladimir Putin is on a tour of Armenia. Speaker Peskov is also present with him. Russian spokesman Peskov did not specify what Russia’s future strategy was during a press conference in the Armenian capital, Yerevan. Peskov avoided questions in this regard.
President Zelensky’s address
He said at the press conference that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on Wednesday. The address followed a statement by the European Parliament, in which he described Russian attacks on Ukraine as terrorism imposed by Moscow. However, during the press conference, Peskov did not comment on the statement of the European Parliament. Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova had said in her telegram message that she had called the European Parliament the sponsor of stupidity.
The war went on for 10 months
Significantly, Russia attacked Ukraine for the first time on 24 February. Since then, Ukraine has suffered huge loss of life and property in this war. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky claims that Russia has fired more than 4800 missiles on Ukraine in 9 months of this war. Recently, Russia had to retreat from Kherson city of Ukraine, which Ukraine had described as its big victory. Ukraine says that in the end it will be their victory in this war.
