Haryana and Rajasthan advanced to the quarter finals of the tournament after beating Tamil Nadu and Bengal respectively on Thursday. Mahipal Lomror along with Abhijeet Tomar played excellently helping Rajasthan defeat Tamilmadu by 19 runs securing a quarter finals spot for themselves. Haryana lost to Bengal by 72 runs making them qualify for the top 8 of the list A tournament.
Rajasthan put out a stellar performance with the bat reaching a total of 267 runs with tomars impressive 111 run knock along with Lomror who was able to reach 50 runs. Chakravarthy was able to outdo Shami and Mukesh by taking 5 wickets for Bengal, however that did not stop them from losing the game. Tamil Nadu were able to put out a strong fighting performance alongside Norayan Jagaseenan who blasted 65 off 52 while batting first, however due to the excellent performance of Choudhary and Aman they got bowled out on 248.
