UP: IT raids at many places including SP leader’s construction company

The investigating agencies are targeting the leaders of the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh. Income tax raids on Wednesday morning in the premises of Ghanaram Construction, a major construction company in Uttar Pradesh. Income tax team has reached many places including Jhansi, Lucknow and is looking for documents.

Ghanram Construction belongs to Samajwadi Party leader Shyam Sundar Yadav and his brother Bisan Singh. Ghanaram Construction has its corporate office in Jhansi. Income tax is red on offices and residences located in Civil Lines of Jhansi. After the vigilance investigation of former SP MLA Deep Narayan Yadav, now Shyam Sundar has been suspected.

Apart from this, IT team is also conducting raids in Lucknow, Kanpur and Jhansi. Real estate businessman Vijay Sarogi has also been raided there.

At present, printing work is going on inside Rajesh Yadav’s house in Kanpur and the IT team is looking for documents inside the house. At the same time, police force is deployed outside. No member of the house was seen coming out. However, it could not be confirmed whether the real estate businessman was inside the house during the raid.

Income Tax team of Kanpur has raided the houses, companies and other places of 8 big businessmen and builders of Jhansi city. The IT department is taking action against many businessmen including SP leader Shyam Sunder Singh Yadav, builder Virendra Rai, Rakesh Baghel, Vijay Sargavi.

According to the information, it is alleged that Ghanram Infra conducted cash transactions of crores of rupees. Houses and properties were bought and sold by the company for cash. It is believed that this raid will last for 2-3 days. It is alleged that this company converts black money into white through fake contracts. Recently, properties worth more than 300 crores have also been purchased.
