Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the program organized on the foundation day of the state and congratulated the people of the state. The Chief Minister addressed the program organized at Avadh Shilp Gram on Tuesday on the foundation day. While congratulating on the foundation day, he said that Uttar Pradesh has to be developed as the growth engine of the country. He said that it is a matter of pride for all of us. Got the fortune of being born in India, the mother of the world’s largest democracy. To be born in India is difficult and to be born as a human is fortunate. It is a matter of great fortune to be born on the land of Uttar Pradesh. Highlighting the glorious history of Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister said that there was no town in the state which did not become the center of the freedom struggle. Kakori of Jhansi, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Chaurachauri, Lucknow are proof of this.

Chief Minister Yogi said that when the government was formed in 2017, the then Governor Ram Naik reminded that all the states are celebrating their foundation day. Can Uttar Pradesh also organize its own foundation day? Foundation Day was celebrated for the first time in 2018. On that occasion the ODOP scheme was launched. Today this scheme has doubled the exports. UP, which has been known for riots and crimes, has become the hub of UP exports.

He said that work will be done on the theme based on the strategy to establish as the best destination for investment and employment. Lakhs of crores of investment is going to happen. Our youth will get employment. They will not have to go out for jobs. We have to welcome investors from all over the world. There is a big loss of UP due to the division of caste, creed and religion. Divisive forces have to be exposed, corruption has to be attacked.

Launch of Family Card Scheme

The Chief Minister said that the family card has been launched with the blessings of the Governor. Through this card, it will be known which families are getting the benefits of government schemes and which are not. Six beneficiary-oriented six online schemes of ODOP have been launched.

Along with small MSME entrepreneurs, artisans, craftsmen, medal winning sportspersons who have brought laurels to the state and country were also awarded on Uttar Pradesh Day.
