On the martyrdom day of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, a symposium was organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party in the city on Thursday by party workers under the chairmanship of BJP District President Praveen Kumar Gupta at the district office of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Today if Kashmir, Punjab and Bengal are part of India, then Dr. Mukherjee’s contribution is significant.

Convener of the seminar, District Vice President Sangeeta Dwivedi said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was the first sacrificer of independent India who laid down his life for the unity of India, along with the District Vice President called upon the workers to take inspiration from Dr. Mukherjee’s sacrifice day to make his sacrifice meaningful. Earlier, people garlanded the life-size statue of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee established in Mau Nagar and paid tribute to him and took a vow to follow the path shown by him.
