Ayodhya Station House Officer (SHO) Ashwini Pandey said that 10-12 unidentified persons have been booked under sections 147 (rioting), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the Indian Penal Code. was recorded. “We registered a case after taking cognizance of the video. We are trying to identify the accused and the victim who was beaten up,” Pandey said.
The complaint, filed by a sub-inspector, reads, “The video is of Ram ki Pauri in Ayodhya where a man and a woman are seen bathing close to each other. They are abused by some people, after that the man is attacked. It is a criminal and punishable offence.”
