Chief Minister expressed deep grief over loss of life in natural calamity

Lucknow, 23 September (H.C.). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has condoled the death due to heavy rains in Etawah, Kasganj, Firozabad and Hamirpur, lightning in Balrampur, Shahjahanpur, Mainpuri and Hardoi and drowning in Prayagraj. He has directed to immediately distribute the permissible relief amount to the families of the deceased. He has expressed condolences to the bereaved families. Instructions have been given to provide proper treatment to the injured in natural calamities.

It is noteworthy that according to the information received from the Relief Commissioner’s office, 10 people have died in Etawah, one in Kasganj, three in Firozabad and one in Hamirpur due to excessive rain. Thus, 15 people have died due to heavy rains. One person in Balrampur, one in Shahjahanpur, two in Mainpuri and one in Hardoi, one loss due to drowning in Prayagraj due to lightning. Two persons are missing after drowning in Ballia. Four people were injured in Etawah, seven in Firozabad due to heavy rains.
