Getting out on a duck (zero runs) is one of the most painful moments for any batsman in cricket. Many legendary cricketers have faced this disappointment at some point in their careers. However, some players had the misfortune of being dismissed for zero in four consecutive ODIs, a record that no batsman wants to hold.

1. Gus Logie (West Indies)
Former West Indies batsman Gus Logie tops this list. Despite a decent career where he scored 2,809 runs in 158 ODIs at an average of 28.95, including 2 centuries and 16 fifties, he struggled during a tough phase. Logie suffered the ignominy of getting dismissed for zero in four consecutive ODIs, a rare low point in an otherwise solid career.
2. Henry Olonga (Zimbabwe)
Zimbabwe's fast bowler Henry Olonga is remembered for his aggressive bowling, taking 58 wickets in 50 ODIs. However, his batting record includes an unfortunate streak—he was dismissed for four consecutive ducks in ODIs. Olonga is also known for his on-field battles, particularly with Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
3. Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka)
Sri Lanka’s bowling maestro Lasith Malinga needs no introduction. He played a key role in many victories, taking 338 wickets in 226 ODIs. However, his batting ability was always a weak point. Malinga found himself on the wrong side of history by recording four consecutive ducks in ODIs, adding an unwanted record to his illustrious career.
4. Pramod Wickramasinghe (Sri Lanka)
Another Sri Lankan cricketer on this list, Pramod Wickramasinghe, was primarily a bowler, taking 109 wickets in 134 ODIs. However, his batting performances were underwhelming, and he also holds the unfortunate record of four consecutive ducks in ODIs.
5. Craig White (England)
Former England all-rounder Craig White had a respectable ODI career, playing 51 matches. However, his batting struggles led to him being dismissed for zero in four consecutive ODIs, securing his place on this unwanted list.
