The Surajkund Mela has established itself as a premier international event, attracting artisans from across India and around the world. It provides a golden platform for craftsmen to showcase their rich heritage of arts and crafts.

This year, the fair will be celebrated as 'Shilp Mahakumbh', drawing inspiration from the grand Mahakumbh Mela 2025. Artists and craftsmen from various countries will come together to display their unique creative works, making it a truly global cultural experience.

Surajkund Mela Ticket Sales via Delhi Metro

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has commenced ticket sales for the 38th Surajkund International Crafts Mela through its Momentum 2.0 mobile app and at metro stations. The fair will take place in Faridabad from February 7 (Friday) to February 23 (Sunday).

Visitors can purchase tickets:

  • Online: Via the DMRC Momentum 2.0 app
  • Offline: At all metro stations and designated ticket counters at the Mela venue

This initiative follows an MoU signed between DMRC and Haryana Tourism Corporation on December 13, 2024, ensuring a smoother ticketing experience for visitors.

Ticket Prices and Mela Timings

  • Weekdays (Monday-Friday): ₹120 per ticket
  • Weekends (Saturday-Sunday): ₹180 per ticket
  • Availability: Tickets will be sold at metro stations and the Mela venue from February 7 to February 23, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Parking Facilities for Visitors

To enhance accessibility, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has arranged 10 dedicated parking lots for two-wheelers and four-wheelers. Additionally, a separate parking area for buses has been allocated to facilitate group travel.

Preparations and Digital Advancements

Haryana’s Tourism Minister, Arvind Sharma, recently inspected the preparations alongside Haryana Tourism Corporation and district administration officials. He emphasized the state's commitment to preserving its cultural and historical heritage.

In a significant step towards modernization, the Surajkund Mela has been digitized, with stall bookings being conducted online for the first time.

Theme States & International Participation in 2025
