Ind vs Pak: Harbhajan Singh took oath, said- I will not say anything on India-Pakistan World Cup match
Fans all over the world as well as cricket fans of both the countries are eagerly waiting for the match between India and Pakistan. Both the countries play against each other only in ICC tournaments. India last lost to Pakistan in a World Cup match for the first time. Harbhajan Singh has refused to say anything about the match this time.
Bhajji said, “This year we will have another World Cup ahead of us. I am not going to make any statement about it or say who will win (T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan).” Chances are, whatever happens, we will see what happens, just like the last time I talked about it, things got messy.”
Before the last T20 World Cup, Harbhajan Singh had said that Pakistan team should give a walkover to India as they have no chance of winning the pass. “I told Shoaib Akhtar that there is no point in your team playing against us, but you give us a walkover. You will play against us and we will beat you, then you will be disappointed, so there is no point in playing. It doesn’t make any sense.”
Significantly, Pakistan’s team not only registered its first win against India in the ICC T20 World Cup but also registered a record win by 10 wickets. Shaheen Shah Afridi, who came to bat first, was shocked by the early wickets of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul. Virat Kohli’s 57 and Rishabh Pant’s 39 helped India post 151 for eight, which was achieved by Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan with 13 balls to spare.
