Hardik Pandya also made a big record in the third T20 match against West Indies at Warner Park in St Kitts on Tuesday. He did such a feat in this match which no Indian player could do before.
Hardik Pandya created history
Hardik Pandya took a wicket in 4 overs at an economy rate of 4.75 for just 19 runs in the match against West Indies. With this wicket, Hardik Pandya completed his 50 wickets in T20 International cricket and set a record in his name. Hardik Pandya became the first player from India to take more than 500 runs and 50 wickets in T20 cricket. Hardik is the 9th player in the world to achieve this special feat.
Most wickets for India in T20
Hardik Pandya has become the sixth bowler to complete 50 wickets for India in T20 International cricket. Earlier this feat has been done by Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. Talking about the highest wicket-taker in T20 International cricket for India, Yuzvendra Chahal’s name comes. Yuzvendra Chahal has taken 79 wickets in 60 T20 matches for India.

Talking about, Hardik was out of Team India since T20 World Cup 2021. But now once again he has become a part of Team India. Hardik Pandya has so far scored 806 runs for India in 66 T20 matches, taking 50 wickets at an average of 23.03. Hardik Pandya has also played 66 ODI matches. In which he has taken 1386 runs and 63 wickets. Pandya has also been a part of the team in 11 Tests in which he has taken 532 runs and 17 wickets.
Brilliant victory for India in the third match
It is worth noting here that in the third match played between India and West Indies, India defeated West Indies to take a 2-1 lead in the T20 series. Batting first in the match, West Indies gave India a target of 165 runs. Team India achieved this target in 19 overs with the help of Suryakumar Yadav’s explosive batting innings. Suryakumar Yadav scored 76 runs in 44 balls with the help of eight fours and four sixes.
Rishabh Pant again played the role of the finisher in the match. Pant scored 33 not out off 26 balls. It included 3 fours and a six. The bowlers also performed brilliantly. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 2 wickets for 35 runs in 4 overs. He dismissed explosive batsmen like Kyle Meyers and Nicholas Pooran.
