Indian stock market opened with a gain on Friday, the last trading day of the week, but a decline is being seen in the initial trade. Bombay Stock Exchange's index Sensex opened with a gain of 129 points at 80,072.99 today. In the initial trade, Sensex was seen trading at 79,463 points, down by 0.60 percent i.e. 472 points. Out of 30 stocks of Sensex, 11 stocks were seen trading in the green zone and 19 in the red zone. At the same time, National Stock Exchange's index Nifty was seen trading at 24,081, down by 0.44 percent i.e. 106 points. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 18 stocks were in the green zone and 32 in the red zone.

Condition of Nifty Pack stocks

The biggest gainers among the Nifty pack were ONGC (3.10%), Titan (1.22%), Trent (0.91%), NTPC (0.80%) and Shriram Finance (0.73%). The biggest losers were HeroMotoCorp (2.38%), TechMahindra (1.33%), Cipla (1.32%), Infosys (1.22%) and Wipro (1.22%).

PSU bank shares surge

Talking about sectoral indices, the highest rise was seen in Nifty PSU Bank at 1.43 percent. Apart from this, Nifty Media rose by 1.60 percent, Nifty Metal by 0.45 percent, Nifty Realty by 0.12 percent, Nifty Consumer Durables by 0.65 percent, Nifty Oil and Gas by 0.67 percent, Nifty Financial Services Ex-Bank by 0.40 percent. At the same time, Nifty Midsmall IT and Telecom fell by 0.18 percent, Nifty Midsmall Healthcare by 0.33 percent, Nifty Healthcare Index by 0.80 percent, Nifty Private Bank by 0.74 percent, Nifty Pharma by 0.84 percent, Nifty IT by 1.12 percent, Nifty FMCG by 0.32 percent, Nifty Auto by 0.25 percent and Nifty Bank by 0.57 percent.
