
UNESCO Heritage Site Targeted in Latest Attack
The historic center of Odesa found itself under a Russian missile attack which struck the UNESCO World Heritage site and caused important historic structures to suffer damage and injured seven individuals as local officials reported.
Zelenskyy Condemns Attack, Calls for Stronger Air Defenses
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy labeled this missile attack as purposeful because he recognized Ukraine requires enhanced air defensibility.
He reported that Norwegian diplomats encountered the missile strike in the precise center of the attack which hit the historical heart of the city.

"Deliberate Attack on Civilians"
Kiper described how Russian forces usually execute three successive explosions targeting the same objective.
Using a missile designed to penetrate concrete showed the Russians intended to attack the hotel both for building destruction as well as killing civilians.
Kiper observed the situation from near emergency response personnel to declare that Russian forces launched their attack specifically against the civilian hotel to achieve destruction of the structure as well as harm visitors.
