The situation is frightening due to incessant rains in all the areas of the northeastern states, on the other hand, clouds have been camping in North India for the whole day today. The devastation of the rain can be gauged from the fact that hundreds of people have lost their lives so far across the country. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain in many areas of the country.
- There will be heavy rain in these parts
According to the IMD, a warning of heavy rain and thundershowers has been issued in Lakshadweep on August 3 and 4. Heavy rains are expected in many states for the next three days. There is a possibility of rain in the coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh on August 3, 6 and 7. According to IMD, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal may see heavy rains on August 4, 7. Apart from this, Telangana, Karnataka and Kerala and Mahe will see heavy rains from August 3 to 7.
- There will be torrential rains in these states
IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in Rayalaseema on August 3 and 4. On August 3 and 6, rains can be seen in South Karnataka. There will be heavy rain in North Karnataka on August 4 and 5. Kerala may see rain from August 3 to 5. Apart from this, very heavy rains are possible in some areas of Tamil Nadu on August 5 and in Telangana on August 3, 6 and 7. On the other hand, less rain activity over central parts of the country will continue till August 4.
