According to the police, 34 supporters of Amritpal have been arrested by the police on Sunday. Apart from this, 7 illegal weapons and more than 300 live cartridges have been recovered. Till now the police have also seized 3 vehicles used by them. At present, a search operation is being conducted to nab him.

On Saturday, when the police was chasing Amritpal, his supporters hit the police vehicles with bikes to divert the attention of the police. Although the police have seized two vehicles of his convoy. Swapan Sharma has told that he had received instructions to arrest Amritpal. He was running ahead of the police on the one-lane link road. Meanwhile, his supporters beat up the police.

While discussing the case, senior police officer Kuldeep Singh Chahal has told that out of those who have been arrested, 6 to 7 people are Amritpal’s gunmen. The police also arrested Amritpal’s close aide Daljit Singh Kalsi on Sunday morning who used to look after all the finances of Amritpal. Police arrested Kalsi from Gurugram in Haryana.
