Jammu And Kashmir: Big success for Indian Army, three terrorists including a minor arrested from Kupwar
Jammu and Kashmir: Security forces have got great success in Handwara of Kupwara district. Security agencies have arrested three terrorists, including a minor, from Handwara area. Arms and ammunition have been recovered from them. All three were assigned the task of carrying out the terrorist attack in the area.
According to J&K Police, security forces spotted three youths in suspicious condition during a joint block check operation at Phal Mandi crossing in Handwara. After deducting the challan by the police, all three tried to run away from the spot. However, all three were caught by the security forces. The arrested people have been identified as Manzoor Ahmed Kumar, Shaukat and a minor.
Security forces have recovered a pistol, a pistol magazine, 7 rounds and two grenades from them. Police said that after preliminary investigation, it is learned that the three were assigned to carry out terrorist attacks in Handwara, killing and injuring people and disturbing peace in the area.
The three were prevented from carrying out further attacks due to immediate arrests by the security forces. An FIR has been registered in this regard at Handwara Police Station and Army has informed that further investigation is on.
