International Yoga Day 2022: Yoga should be a part of daily life: Cabinet Minister Naresh Patel

Best wishes Stating the importance and significance of World Yoga Day, the Minister noted the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to glorify India’s glorious heritage on the world stage and described Yoga as an important tool for building a healthy society.
While the world has accepted the importance of ‘Yoga’ and ‘Ayurveda’, which protect India in a big way in the difficult times of Corona, the Minister also told the importance of this year’s theme ‘Yoga for Humanity’ and it called upon to create Yoga is a part of daily life.
District Panchayat President Mangalbhai Gavit, MLA Vijaybhai Patel, BJP President Dasharathbhai Pawar, Collector Bhavin Pandya, District Development Officer Dr. Vipin Garg, Superintendent of Police Raviraj Singhji Jadeja, Deputy Conservator of Forests Ravi Prasad and Dinesh Rabari, along with ministers in Dang Swaraj Ashram. Administrative officers, students, teachers, volunteers etc. were present and performed ‘Yoga Demonstration’.
It is noteworthy that in the district level program organized at Dang’s historical site Dang Swaraj Ashram, more than three thousand people became ‘yogamay’. Apart from this, on the occasion of ‘Amrit Mahotsav of Freedom’, a special program was organized by the Government of India at Girimathak Saputara, the only place in the district out of 6 prestigious places in the country.
Simultaneously ‘Yoga Demonstration’ programs were also organized in all the three talukas of the district. Accordingly, the Ahwa taluka program was held at Rang Upvan in Ahwa, the Waghai taluka program was held at the Government Agricultural High School in Waghai, and the Subir taluka program was held at Subir’s Navjyot High School. Apart from this ‘Yoga Demonstrations’ were also organized at 9 places in all the 211 villages of the district. In which a total of more than 4 thousand 5 people became ‘Yogmay’.
Yoga is about uniting or creating. The root of this word is Sanskrit word yuj which means to join. At the spiritual level this union means the union of individual consciousness with the universal consciousness. On a practical level, yoga is a means of balancing and harmonizing the body, mind and emotions.
