Hindu organizations came against the new license of meat shops in Gurugram

Gurugram. Hindu organizations have stood up against the new license for meat in Gurugram, the city of Guru Drona and the holy place of Mother Sheetla. By sending a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the Deputy Commissioner, it has been demanded that this process should be stopped without any delay. Even before this, the administration had said that only old licenses will be renewed, new ones will not be given.

On behalf of the Samyukta Hindu Sangharsh Samiti Haryana, it has been said that the holy place of Sheetla Mata in Gurugram is one of the 52 Siddha Peeths in the country. Lakhs of people come to this holy land of Guru Dronacharya to seek the blessings of Mother Sheetla. On 9 October 2017 it was announced by Chief Minister Manohar Lal that new licenses for meat would not be given in Gurugram. Only old licenses will be renewed. Now on June 23, 2022, Municipal Corporation of Gurugram has published information through newspaper that 126 applications have been received for the license of meat. Objections have been sought on these licenses till June 28.

In such a situation, the Sangharsh Samiti opposes this process. There is a demand of the committee that new licenses for meat should not be given in Gurugram. The process started by the corporation for issuing new licenses should be stopped immediately. There should be no meat shops within a radius of 10 km from the Goddess Sheetla Mata complex of the entire country. At present 119 licensed shops and about 2500 shops are running illegally in Gurugram. To maintain the purity, faith and purity of Mother Sheetla’s city, illegal meat shops should be closed with immediate effect. A large number of people including Mahavir Bharadwaj, Kulbhushan Bharadwaj, Rajiv Mittal, Praveen Dahiya, Reenu Gupta, Brahmaprakash, Ashwani, Raja were among those who gave the memorandum.
