The Army was briefed about the Agneepath project on Tuesday. Lt Gen Anil Puri said that the army is not for jobs. Instead it is for passion. His words were heard from the three armies and efforts were made to convince the youth. An Air Force official said, “There will be no compromise on the combat capability of the Air Force. We are ready to recruit personnel under Agneepath scheme.”

The Indian Army said that the Agneepath project will not affect the military’s combat capability, but will improve it. Let us tell you that there are protests by the youth across the country against the Agneepath project. In the last one week, students have held violent protests in many states of the country. The students demanded that the government withdraw this scheme.
