Congress leaders reached the collectorate to protest against the Agneepath scheme amid Section-144

Kota, June 21 (H.C.). Section 144 is in force in the city on behalf of the Kota district administration after the nationwide agitation and miscreants arson in trains and buses in connection with the Agneepath scheme. Meanwhile, the protesters are seen flouting Section 144 of the protest demonstration. Despite the Congress government in the state, on Tuesday, on behalf of the District Congress Committee, under the leadership of District President Ravindra Tyagi, the Congress workers staged a huge dharna and protest at the Collectorate.

Hundreds of Congress workers took part in a sit-in at the Collectorate in the morning to protest against the Enforcement Directorate’s action on former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi by the Central Government. The protesters raised slogans against the central government and PM Narendra Modi. During this, senior party leaders also addressed the dharna. After which the District Collector was given a memorandum in the name of the Governor.

Congress leader Pankaj Mehta while addressing the dharna said that Agneepath scheme is a scheme to deceive the youth of the country, a scheme to ruin the country. The Modi government has put the security of the country at risk through the Agneepath scheme. This plan will prove fatal for the security of the country.
