Anand: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar launched ‘Mission Green Earth-Green Gujarat Campaign’
Organizations like Art of Living have also joined the task of making Gujarat green. Today on 23rd September, State Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited the Art of Living Ashram at Ankalwadi on the banks of Mahisagar river in Anand district. Launch of ‘Mission Green Earth – Green Campaign’
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel made a courtesy call at the Ashram of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Maharaj at Ankalwadi in Anand district. The Chief Minister was welcomed with the divine sound of Vedic chants. While presenting a courtesy visit to the ashram, he inaugurated the Mission Green Earth-Green Gujarat campaign run by the institute by planting saplings in the kite of the institute. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Maharaj started the Green Gujarat campaign by planting Belpatra, Kali Tulsi, Peepal, Sheer Champo, Lemon, Sweet Neem and Aloe Vera trees at Ankalwadi Ashram.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that this is the work of the government, continuous efforts should be made to use every minute in the service of the people. In such efforts of the government, in the works of making Gujarat green, when organizations like Art of Living join with the auspicious resolution of “Hamara Gujarat, Hariyalo Gujarat”, divine energy is infused in that work.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also expressed his commitment to serve the people better with the blessings of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Maharaj. So Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Maharaj also welcomed the Chief Minister and said that very good work has been done in a very short time for the progress and prosperity of Gujarat. He expressed his gratitude to the government for participating in the “Hamara Gujarat, Hariyalo Gujarat” campaign being run by the organization to make Gujarat green.
plan to plant one thousand crore trees
It is noteworthy that the Mission Green Earth project has been started by the Art of Living organization to fulfill the commitment of environmental protection. Under which one thousand crore trees will be planted in Gujarat by Miyavanki method to realize the mantra of “Our Gujarat, Green Gujarat”. While climate change is creating many environmental problems in the world today, plantations not only provide clean air but also provide many benefits such as increased rainfall, maintenance of water level and prevention of soil erosion. Under this project organizations and people will be connected with “Hamara Gujarat, Hariyalo Gujarat” campaign by creating public awareness about home nursery, technical skills, physical contribution, tree plantation and responsible breeding.
